Safdar Ali is a Pakistani writer who has written a play and novel after his retirement as a professor of English at Forman Christian College, University Lahore, Pakistan. He devoted his life to teaching generations of students English writing mechanics and explaining English grammar’s quandaries. To the postgraduate students, he lectured on 20th-century playwrights and poetry of that time. Now, he lives at home and spends time reading and writing. He gave a large chunk of his life to academic activities. Now his interests are pretty much diverse online. (His choicest niche is article writing and blogging.) Safdar Ali’s (MA in English and PGD-ELT) robust grounding in English language and literature created a unique blend of academic insight and practical expertise in content creation. Safdar’s training in the English language discipline triggered a growing interest in reading and writing. He wrote two books (Men in Dark—A Play and a Novel, The Void, published in the US).
